Working While Studying in Canada
Work Permits

Post-Graduation Work Permit
Graduates from two-year programs or greater are eligible for a three year open work permit upon graduation, providing entry into many PR programs.

Pathway to Permanent Residence
Once a foreign worker in Canada has obtained 1560 hours of skilled work experience within a year, they maybe eligible to apply for permanent residence under the Canadian Experience Class. in addition, should they have an offer of full time employment from a Canadian employer, they may be eligible for nomination from a provincial nomination program.
